Emily was our first scholarship participant. We are very happy to announce that she passed the course and now has her motorcycle endorsement. Emily provides valuable time and energy helping out thecommunity with a charitable organization called Bikers with Big Hearts. She wanted to be able to participate in rides and do more with helping out her community. We look forward to riding with Emily soon.
Bikers and Bunnies has been able to donate a few small items to other charities. As well as donate our time and presence at their events to help out.
Bikers and Bunnies has been able to financially assist two injured riders and make gift baskets for two others. It is our hope that we will continue to help out more as we get bigger and are able to obtain more funds. It is also our goal to have the means to help out families that are in need due to accidents and missing work. The more help we can give to families in need the easier it is on them to heal faster without worry about feeding their families or paying certain bills.
Meet Kenna. She is officially the first child to receive a "bunny" from Bikers and Bunnies. Granted she is the granddaughter of Cookie and another member just went out and bought and brought the gift on the back of his motorcycle for her. But it's stories and kids like these that we want to help out. Kenna has lived with her grandmother since she was 7 months old. She recently went on a visit to her mother that didn't go well and makennas favorite doll and things never returned home with her. Kenna was very upset. Since her grandmother had to buy all new clothes for her there wasn't much left for other things. So a Biker and Bunnies member asked what doll she needed replaced and went and got it and rode it to her on the back of his bike. Kenna was so happy and since she knows about the group and helps Grandma with some things she thought it was neat that she is officially the first child to receive a Bunny blessing from our group. These are the smiles and gifts we hope to give many children in the near future to make a hard time a little less hurtful for them and put a smile on their faces.
Jan is a member who recently was involved in a motorcycle accident as a passenger. She was hurt and required surgery missing lots of work and leaving her with over 30,000 out of pocket medical bills. We have been giving her the donations we receive from our go fund me page. Please consider donating to our go fund me page so we can continue to help her as she recovers.
